Tax allowance scheme unveiled for farm safety equipment
The Irish Farmers Journal this week reported that a new scheme has been launched that allows farm operators to offset the cost of farm safety equipment against their tax bill. According to the publication allowable expenses include Chemical Storage cabinets, anti crush equipment and the cost of modifications to allow for persons of restricted mobility participate safely in farm work.
