Sometimes I am involved in a project that just stops you in your tracks; this is one of them!
X-Hail (www.xhail.com) are a first of all a really cool group of people they are also an incredibly talented and creative outfit who have developed software that lets film producers compose music in real time. For a geek like me, the I find the technology in this organisation is really amazing, and it was only fitting that when we were asked to supply signage for X-Hail they had a finish to match.
The choice of materials was very simple, vinyls and foamex signage, however the colours used literally jump off the wall.
On the communal ground floor we had a 12ft x 8ft wall with a fire alarm box and a communal post box stuck in the middle of it, with this we had to make a word wall using key words and bright colours. X-Hail's offices were on the first floor, and from the moment you opened the door the grahphics shout you are here. On each of the doors, running vertically, we were briefed to name the office, the finance office was "COUNT", administration "SUPPORT", etc. There were several feature walls including a 30ft x 8ft wall where we were asked to put the word "BELIEVE" in 2m high purple letters.
I have put up some photos here which show the job during the installation phase. However, if you want to have a look at the completed job, please take a look at this video.
Barrow Signs really enjoyed working on this project and think that the results are amazing.
