Window Manifestations (to Part M)

Barrow Signs are specialists in the design, computerised cutting and application of window manifestation film for use on glass partitions, meeting room windows, shopfronts, internal doors and glass screens.

This is often referred to as privacy film, glass etching, acid etching, or window frosting due to the effects produced when the material is applied.

Window manifestations are a requisite on glass in certain locations, the primary function is to make the glass visible to persons with visual impairment and thereby minimising the risk of accidents.  The minimum requirements of Part M of the Building Regulations are listed here: PART M (Manifestations), these usually take the form of square of round dots or a solid 5cm band

Manifestations are also used to give occupants privacy for meetings, consultations,treatments, etc. Here we are allowed to use our creativity by incorporating logos, shapes, patterns, colours and branding into the design.
